Mindy Chaffin comes to Wabaunsee county from Oregon where her family has a cherry and Prune farm. She most recently worked for the Sika Center for Art and Ecology, a workshop and residency program located on the central Oregon coast. With over fifteen years of nonprofit experience and a passion for supporting organizations during inflection points of growth and change Mindy is excited to join the Volland team.
Mindy grew up in Oregon, has a passion for travel and is also a ceramic artist. She graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Art from Southern Oregon University, while there she made over 300 whimsical teapots. She is excited to explore the Flint Hills and learn more about ecology of the area and Midwest way of life.
